What data we process
- Contact form: name, email, phone (optional) and the message you write to us.
- Booking request: name, email, phone, dates of stay, number of guests and your comments.
- Technical data: the IP address from which a form is sent, to prevent abuse, and the cookies described in the cookie policy.
Purpose and legal basis
- Answering your enquiries. Legal basis: your consent when you send us the form (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
- Managing your booking request and your stay. Legal basis: pre-contractual measures and performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Complying with our legal obligations as a tourist accommodation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
We do not use your data to send you advertising and we do not make automated decisions about you.
How long we keep them
For as long as needed to handle your enquiry or booking and, afterwards, for the periods required by law to address possible liabilities.
Who we share them with
We do not sell or transfer your data. Only the providers who serve us, and who are contractually bound to protect it, have access: our email provider, our web hosting provider and Smoobu, the platform we use to manage bookings.
If you accept third-party cookies, Google (Google Maps and YouTube) receives browsing data under its own privacy policy.
Your rights
You can ask us for access to, rectification or erasure of your data, restriction of or objection to its processing and its portability, and withdraw your consent at any time, by writing to info@sunsetcortescastrobeach.com.
If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
